- Service Window: We require access to your property between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM on your scheduled service day.
- Clear Access Required: Please ensure gates are unlocked, bars are removed, and electric fences are powered off prior to our arrival.
- Gate Latching: We will attempt to securely relatch your gate upon exit. However, if there is a risk of damaging the gate/latch while doing so, we will not force it.
- Inaccessible Yard Fee: If we are unable to access your yard: 1. We will reschedule your service within one week. 2. If the yard is inaccessible after three attempts, your service agreement will be terminated, and a refund will be issued minus a 50% inconvenience fee.
- Service Efficiency: We optimize our routes for maximum efficiency. While we aim to keep your pickup day consistent, the time of service may vary.
- 98% Accuracy Guarantee: Our technicians strive for perfection and guarantee service with 98% accuracy.
- Avoiding Damage: We take care to avoid damage, defined as the loss of topsoil or digging deeper than one inch. If soil is excessively soft, we will not pick up waste in that specific area to prevent yard damage.
- Weather & Service Policy
- Dog Day Sunrise prioritizes consistent, high-quality service; however, Mother Nature occasionally interferes. Our policy for inclement weather is as follows:
- Inclement Weather Criteria: Service may be postponed or skipped in the event of heavy rain, lightning, or extreme temperatures that endanger our staff. Specifically, regarding winter weather, snow accumulation of 3 inches or more makes it physically impossible to locate and safely remove pet waste.
- The “Industry Standard” for Billing: Because our pricing is based on the volume of waste removed rather than just a time-slot, your monthly or weekly rate remains the same even if a scoop is skipped due to weather.
- Why We Don’t “Catch Up”: When a week is skipped due to snow or storms, the following week’s visit requires us to remove double the amount of waste (two weeks’ worth). Because this doubles the labor and disposal requirements for that subsequent visit, we are unable to offer credits or “catch-up” days mid-week.
- Resumption of Service: Your yard will be cleared of all accumulated waste on your next regularly scheduled service day following the weather event, provided conditions allow for safe and effective removal.
- Safety for Pets and Techs: For the safety of our team and your pet, all pets (regardless of size, breed, or demeanor) must be secured or kept indoors during the service event (typically 30 minutes). If pets are loose, cleaning will stop immediately. A 15-minute waiting period will be granted before the service is considered forfeit for the week.
- Owner Supervision Exception: If you are present and supervising your dog(s) at all times, service may proceed, but this is always at the sole discretion of the technician based on their comfort level and safety assessment.
- Payment: Full payment is required before service work begins.
- Accepted Payment: We accept Cash, Credit/Debit Cards, Check, Zelle, and secured invoicing via Authorize.net (auto-pay options available).
- Large Yard Fee: Yards larger than 3,500 sq ft incur an additional $15 fee, plus $10 for every 2,000 sq ft thereafter. Yard size is determined using a measuring wheel or Google Maps.
- Discount Policy: Only one discount may be applied per service. Discounts apply only to the base price and not to taxes, fees, or surcharges. All discounts are offered at the sole discretion of Dog Day Sunrise LLC.
- Rescheduling/Cancellation: Changes or cancellations must be reported one week (7 days) prior to your scheduled cleaning date. If notice is not provided, the scheduled service fee will be forfeited. No reason is required to cancel or reschedule.
- Ending Your Price-Protected Subscription: If you choose to cancel your recurring service before the initial 6-month period, a 30% adjustment fee will be applied to any remaining prepaid balance. This allows us to maintain stable, predictable pricing for all our long-term neighbors.
- Refund Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 days of all required documentation (questionnaire, initial receipt, and itemized refund receipt) being submitted.
- Right to Refuse Service: Dog Day Sunrise LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any customer.
- Rate Integrity & Price Protection
- To provide our neighbors with the most predictable and transparent experience, Dog Day Sunrise stands by the following pricing commitment:
- 6-Month Price Protection: Once your subscription begins, your specific service rate is guaranteed to remain unchanged for a minimum of six months. This ensures you can budget for your “doggy doody” service with total confidence.
- Future Adjustments: To maintain our high standards of care, equipment, and staff safety, we may periodically review and adjust our subscription rates after your initial 6-month protection period.
- Advanced Notice: Should a rate adjustment become necessary to reflect rising operational costs in the future, all affected clients will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
